TG4<\/strong><\/em> in assocation with Assassin Boxing<\/strong><\/em> and Boxing Ireland Promotions<\/strong><\/em> have confirmed that all ten fights from \u2018Clash of the Titans\u2019<\/strong> will be broadcast live on Saturday 30th<\/sup> March<\/strong> with coverage on YouTube and on TG4<\/strong>\u2019s main channel which will provide live coverage from 8:30pm to 11:00pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

TG4<\/strong> will provide extensive live coverage of \u2018Clash of the Titans\u2019<\/strong> with an exciting evening of professional boxing from the National Stadium in Dublin. All ten fights on the night will be broadcast on TG4<\/strong>\u2019s YouTube site to viewers in Ireland. Coverage of the fights later in the evening will also be available on TG4<\/strong>\u2019s main linear channel from 8:30pm onwards.<\/p>\n

The show will feature Eric Donovan v Stephen McAfee<\/strong> for the vacant Irish featherweight title. Donovan, who is the former BUI Celtic Champion at featherweight will face off with the current Celtic super-featherweight champion for the Irish title. Other fighters on the night include Katelyn Phelan v Monika Antonik<\/strong>, Victor Rabei v Jake Hanney<\/strong>, Dylan Moran v Gyrorgy Mizei<\/strong> and Allan Phelan v Aiden Metcalfe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Katelynn Phelan<\/strong>, who is a former World Youth and European Junior bronze medalist, will fight Monika Antonik<\/strong>. Eitheen year old Katelynn is the younger sister of pro boxer Allan Phelan<\/strong> who faces Aidan Metcalfe<\/strong> for the BUI Celtic featherweight title on the same bill on 30 March. Polish fighter Monika Antonik<\/strong> is a former Olympian and Natasha Jonas made her professional debut against her in August 2017.<\/p>\n

The live coverage of the \u2018Clash of the Titans\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0 will be presented by M\u00e1ire Treasa N\u00ed Cheallaigh<\/strong> with commentary and analysis by Andy Lee<\/strong>, Kenneth Egan<\/strong>, Darren O\u2019Neill<\/strong>, Ryan Burnett<\/strong> and Se\u00e1n B\u00e1n Breathnach<\/strong>.\u00a0 TG4<\/strong>\u2019s live YouTube<\/strong> commentary will be provided by C\u00e1rthach B\u00e1n Breathnach<\/strong>. The live coverage will be produced by Limerick based company Vitel TV<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

TG4<\/strong>\u2019s Head of Sport, R\u00f3n\u00e1n \u00d3 Coisdealbha<\/strong> said:\u00a0 \u201cTG4<\/strong> are very pleased to be broadcasting another night of boxing from the National Stadium. Following on from a night of high drama in Castlebar in last December we feel it\u2019s important that boxers should have a national platform to showcase their talents. We\u2019re delighted to be able to bring this to a national free to air audience. \u201d<\/p>\n

Assassin Promotion<\/strong>\u2019s Conor Slater<\/strong> said \u201c’It is fantastic to see professional boxing return to Irish screens. I believe there is a huge appetite for the sport in Ireland, and the exposure boxing has gotten over the past year is testament to the work TG4<\/strong> have done. It feels like something really special is building, and to have a network partner that believes in Irish sport, is fantastic. I think on March 30th, the Irish public will get another taste of just how brilliant Irish professional boxing is at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
