Sport<\/u> – Misneach – Alex Lee, Midas Productions (TG4)
\n <\/p>\n

Nominees revealed in 10 categories for this year\u2019s RTS Ireland Television Awards. Juries considered over 130 entries from across the industry.
\n <\/p>\n

Addressing the unveiling of the nominees for this year’s Gradaim RTS, L\u00eds N\u00ed Dh\u00e1laigh, Director of Marketing, Development and Partnerships and TG4 representative of RTS Ireland Awards<\/strong>, extends congratulations to all the nominees. “There was strong competition in each category, and these nominations showcase the excellence of Irish language programs. Well done to all the nominees for their outstanding achievements.”<\/em>

The winners will be revealed on the evening of Tuesday March 19th at a celebratory event in Dublin\u2019s Liberty Hall Theatre. A limited number of tickets for the event are available to purchase from the 27th of February at:

An Irish and Geography teacher in Galway’s Bish by day, Alex began his journey as a para-athlete in 2018. In the past 6 years he has learned how to walk, how to run and how to sprint. Filmed over 18 months, this documentary captures the incredible story of how Alex Lee became Ireland’s first bladerunner. Featuring personal archive detailing much of Alex’s journey, this is a story about persistence, grit and a refusal to give up.<\/p>\n
