\nTG4 is proud to present Hit the Wall<\/strong>, a compelling new documentary exploring the fascinating world of Gaelic Handball<\/strong>. Once a cornerstone of Irish sporting life, with alleys in almost every town and village, the sport now faces the challenge of survival.

\nWhile handball\u2019s popularity has dwindled to just 10,000 active players and many alleys lie silent or abandoned, the passion and dedication of its top players burn as brightly as ever. Hit the Wall follows these elite athletes through the highs and lows of their season, showcasing their unrelenting pursuit of excellence and the unique mental resilience required to compete at the highest level.

\nThe documentary delves into their stories, uncovering what drives these players to chase glory in a sport some believe to be “dead.” It\u2019s an intimate look at the spirit of competition and the enduring love for a game rooted in Irish history.
