On Saturday, 25 October<\/strong>, as the count unfolds, Si\u00fan Nic Gearailt will present two special \u00c1ras25<\/strong> programmes on TG4, at 2pm<\/strong> and 7pm<\/strong>, featuring the latest results, reports from count centres, and in-depth analysis from studio and on the ground contributors.

The 2025 Presidential Election:<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Friday, 24 October 2025<\/strong>, voters will elect the tenth President of Ireland<\/strong>. Since the establishment of the office in 1938, nine presidents have served, from Douglas Hyde to Michael D. Higgins<\/strong>, whose 14 year presidency concludes in November. The newly elected president will be sworn in and take up residence at \u00c1ras an Uachtar\u00e1in<\/strong>.
