Gradam Ceoil TG4 has recognized this from the beginning, presenting the Young Musician&#8217;s award to instrumentalists from all parts of Ireland who are just a small example of the thousands of young men and women who are the future of Irish music.<br \/>\n<em>&#8220;I was recipient of the TG4 Young Traditional Musician of the Year award in 1998. I had just released an album with a group of musicians called S\u00edona from Sligo and Leitrim. Receiving the award was a wonderful surprise to me.
