TG4 Foghlaim
Welcome to TG4 Foghlaim
During the school year, TG4 Foghlaim provides weekly online Irish lessons based on material from current and archival TG4 programmes based on the Leaving Certificate Irish oral examination.
This new audiovisual educational resource is focused on the Leaving Certificate Irish oral examination but learners at every level can develop their language skills with free, interactive lessons. Leaving certificate topics are explored in context so that learners are equipped for the conversation section of Béaltriail na Gaeilge or An Scrúdú Cainte.
The poetry section of the Irish oral examination is also explored in depth through new visual interpretations of each of the five prescribed poems: Géibheann, Colscaradh, An Spailpín Fánach, An tEarrach Thiar and Mo Ghrá-sa (Idir Lúibíní). The material also includes model samples of each of the five poems covered in all three dialects along with background information on the relevant poets.
